Model, emcee and fashion designer, Bheki Bulose, is a native of Durban, South Africa. A resident of the United States since 2004, this headstrong artist is fluent in both Zulu and English. More engaging are his silent wit and a dazzling, white smile, which he brandishes as a weapon used to inspire hope, warmth and love to everyone he meets.
Born Bheki Bulose on May 15, 1978, this charismatic model, emcee and designer is a native of Durban, South Africa. He was raised by his mother, Christobell Nonhlanhla Bulose Khathi, a retired lecturer of Teachers College of Education, and his late stepfather, Robert Khathi, a former police officer. Sadly, he has never met his birth father, Laurence Mbatha.
Bheki studied high school at Umlazi ComTech, then proceeded to Varsity College. In 1999, he left South Africa for Orlando, Florida to join the Walt Disney World International College program. Following completion of the Disney program, Bheki decided to remain in the US to explore more career options.
In 2001, he began to do print modeling and landed his first professional gig with Dillard’s for their fall print campaign. In 2004, he became a legal resident of the US, and relocated to the North. After spending 10 years residing in New Jersey, Bheki decided to dig into his ultimate passion and began exploring New York, the fashion capital of the world. With his eyes set on winning, nothing is impossible for this unstoppable 42 year-old charmer!
